![]() ![]() ![]() This story didn’t do much for me but I will still try out what next these authors pull up because I have read some really great stories by them in the past. I also admired her determination to succeed and not end up in the same path her own mother took. There were some things I liked about the story though, like Jess’s close relationship with her grand parents and how they also provided support for her daughter. But then Jess hears about GeneticAlly, a buzzy new DNA-based. I also felt the “romance” was seriously lacking here and didn’t feel that there was any real chemistry between them. Jess holds her loved ones close but working constantly to stay afloat is hard.and lonely. As a scientist, It is exciting to think that such a thing can be possible and wonder about the implications of that however, this one started a bit slow for me with too much banter between the protagonist and her bestfriend and then I couldn’t connect with both protagonists no matter how much I tried. What if you can find your soulmate by matching your DNA sample with thousands of others across the globe? This is the premise of the story and I think it is one of those stories that I liked the idea of the story more than the actual story. ![]() I have read several books by these authors and it has usually been a hit or miss for me.
